850...What does this Number Mean?!

850 DOLLARS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO FORK OUT TO THE GOVERNMENT!! PLUS THE 137 DOLLARS WE OWE TO H&R BLOCK FOR TAX PREPARATION. AWESOME. ANYONE HAVE AN EXTRA GRAND OF CASH LYING AROUND THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE???

We have never owed on taxes before. I usually really look forward to this time of year because I think of all the ways we can use our tax return money. So...you can understand why this is like a huge kick in the butt for us. I hope your tax season goes much better than ours.

Superbowl!

I love Superbowl Sunday!! The reasons that I love it have absolutely nothing to do with football. Berkeley and I are not sports watchers by any means. In fact, today Berkeley and I were talking about the awesome food we get to eat on Superbowl Sunday when the conversation turned into this...

Annie: "Berkeley, do you even know who is playing in the Superbowl today?"
Berkeley: "Nope, no idea."
Annie: "Me neither, I just like the party that goes along with the game."
Berkeley: "Yeah, me too."

So there is the reason why I love Superbowl Sunday so much. I like to spend time having a party with friends and eating lots of food.

Pizza Night!

Tonight Berkeley and I had a lot of fun with all of our friends/neighbors. Scott and Mickelle invited all of us over for dinner. She made us all veggie pizza and it was amazingly good! Our party consisted of Scott & Mickelle, Dantley and Erin, Liz and Grant, Jenny & Dave, and Berkeley & me. I love our little neighborhood of friends. Here is a picture and video of the evening.

Let the Organizing Begin!

I'm sorry that lately all of my posts have been about babies or pregnancy, but really that is all that consumes my thoughts right now. I am proud to say that I have finally begun to organize the hodge-podge of baby stuff that has been filling our extra bedroom for the last 4 months. Here is what I have so done so far.

Last, here is another terribly flattering picture of me that I know my friends will appreciate...yes, especially you, Lexi. This is me at 37 weeks. We have finally made it into the ninth month! Just ignore the look of shock on my face and my total morning hair. Berkeley thinks I'm hot and that is all that matters. Enjoy!

Welcome Bryson!! Don't Be Fooled...I am Still Pregnant.

Cade is only a month old, and now our family has already added another little addition!! My brother Scott and his wife Jen had their baby boy about a week ago, and they named him Bryson. I have not had the chance to meet him yet because he has been in the NICU, but he is doing very well and should be going home any day now. He weighs 6 lbs 7 oz and he looks like he has frosted tips to his hair. Very cute! Welcome to our family and congrats to Scott and Jen. We love you guys.
