PCP, Marajuana, Coke, Meth
Here we go. Last night, I survived the scariest experience of my life. Berkeley and I went to Dinner at the Olive Garden with Jeff and Lexi. Jeff and Lexi drove two cars to dinner, but Lexi wasn't feeling so great after we ate, so Berkeley drove one of their cars home while I drove our car. When we pulled into the driveway entrance of our duplex, I saw a frantic looking man wearing only a pair of shorts running directly towards my car. I was confused and didn't realize that I could be in danger. When I figured out he was running to my car, I only had time to lock my own door (old school car, manual locks). He started pulling my door handle and then went to the back door, opened it, jumped in the back seat of my car, and locked all the rest of the car doors from the inside. He started screaming at me to drive. I freaked out. I couldn't do anything but scream Berkeley's name. Berkeley had pulled in about the same time as me so he saw the whole thing take place. He ran over to my car and was pounding on the windows and screaming at the guy to get out. The guy in my car continued to scream at me to drive, and when I did not drive, he crawled from the back seat into my passenger seat. He screamed, "If you aren't going to drive then get out!" Once again, my car is ghetto. The driver's door is broken so when it is locked from the inside, the door won't open unless it is with the key from the outside. Basically I was trapped inside my car with the psycho criminal. He kept yelling at me to get out and I kept saying, "If I could get out, I would. My door is broken!" He leaned over me, tried to open the door and shove me out. When he realized it really was broken, he began yelling at me to drive again and tried putting my gear into drive. All the while, Berkeley was helpless outside of my car pounding on the windows. About this time, two police officers came running to my car. One came to my side and the other went to the passenger side. The cop on my side yelled at me to roll down my window. I did and he leaned over me and filled the guy's face and my car with pepper spray. Instantly my throat and eyes started burning and I told the cop I couldn't breath. He pulled my head outside the window and hid it in the side of his body. I started breathing much better. The guy in my car continued to fight and would not open the door. About 2 seconds later, I heard a huge crash and a bunch of glass sprayed all over me. The other cop had shattered my passenger window. A bunch more cops had shown up by this time. They had their guns drawn and were trying to open the door but the guy just kept fighting like crazy. The cop on my side then leaned in over me through my window and tazered the guy in the back. The guy kept fighting. The cop tazered him again in the stomach. That basically made the guy freeze so the cops on the other side grabbed him and yanked him out through the shattered window. The guy was almost naked so his body got pretty cut up along with being shocked and pepper sprayed. Even outside of the car, the guy was fighting the cops like crazy. Once he was out of my car, I finally was able to get the keys out of the ignition and unlock my door from the outside. I was shaking so bad I could hardly walk. I just held on to Berkeley until I was steady. Berkeley was pretty shaky as well. The cops cuffed the guy on the ground and then began dumping water all over him to alleviate the pepper spray and wash off all the blood. I didn't care to stay outside so the cops escorted us inside and had us fill out a bunch of paperwork and write statements. The officer told us the guy was running because they had caught him earlier, he had assaulted two cops and got away. He was in possession of drugs and was so doped up on all of the drugs in the title of this post. He was messed up. I just couldn't believe that the guy did not hurt me when I didn't drive or couldn't get out. He was so violent to everyone other than me. He shoved me a little bit but that was it. I was definately being looked out for. I have never felt the need to pray for thanks more than after that event took place. The situation was aweful and terrifying but it could have been a million times worse. I know I was blessed because I felt surprisingly calm afterwards and have not felt much fear or trauma since.

Burrahm Family Reunion
This past weekend, my family went to Paradise, UT to spend a few days at a cabin. We played lots of games, spent Saturday boating and playing at the lake, ate lots of good food, and enjoyed one another's company. It was a great weekend. Thanks to my sister Kellie and her husband John for putting it all together for everyone. We all had a great time!

Trick Painting
My mom sent these pictures to me in an e-mail and I thought they were really cool. It is amazing what painters can create! This first picture is a painting on the ceiling of a work breakroom. How clever!
The second one is a painting done on the floor of a bathroom located on the 13th floor of a building. I don't know if I could use this bathroom. It kind of makes my stomach turn.

What a Sweet Guy
A couple days ago I was in the worst of all the bad moods possible. I was freaking out about everything under the sun. Nothing could make me happy. Work was going terribly. I was beginning to panic at the idea of paying for school and a new baby with me no longer working...the list could go on. It was just a terrible day. I felt really bad because Berkeley got the brunt of my modiness. I went to Target after work to pick a couple things up. I kept looking for a little gift of some sort to get Berkeley to apologize for the way I had been that day, but I didn't find anything. When I got home, I opened the front door only to find a bouquet of orange daisies on our table. On a day when I was a total brat, Berkeley goes out of his way to suprise me with flowers. Either he is just the sweetest guy ever or he was afraid of me... I choose to believe the first. Thanks Berkeley.
Oh, I passed my math class!! NO MORE MATH EVER!

The kittens that I love so much...but they make me so mad!
We have these three little kittens that we see roaming around in our neighbor's ivy/bush area and they are ridiculously cute. I love kittens. These ones make me so mad though because they are wild kittens so they refuse to come anywhere near you. I just want to pet them so bad but they just run if anyone tries to approach them. The other night I was trying to lure them towards me with food. I would throw pieces to them and they would cautiously eat them from a distance but would not come any closer. Here is video Berkeley took of the ordeal.

If I Passed...
IF I passed my math final today (and the chances of that are definately iffy) then I just took the LAST MATH TEST I WILL EVER HAVE TO TAKE in my college career. That is something worth jumping up and down for. I won't find out for a week or so if I passed, but until then I am going to pretend like I know I aced the test and that my teacher is an angel and will grant me a few extra points here and there to make my passing his class a sure thing. I will keep you posted. Pray that my teacher is an angel.
