Whaaaaaa! Boo-hoo-hoo.

How am I ever going to make it without Lexi around? Lexi is moving away for the summer and then maybe for good to somewhere else that is not in Utah at all! Lexi is one of my very best friends. She is always good for a laugh. She is great company and I always expect to have so much fun when she is around. We haven't been able to hang out a ton lately but she is someone who I always feel is just a call away. Here are a few reasons why I love her soooo much...

She loves dessert just as much as I do.

She makes ordinary things interesting.

She is creative!

She does not hold back her smiles and hello's from anyone.
She's so friendly.

She is a lifesaver in every way.

I will miss you terribly Lexi!

3 Years!

Yesterday was our anniversary! I have been reflecting back on our relationship and the time we have spent together and I could not be more grateful to have Berkeley in my life. This past year has been a great one and I am so excited for the years to come. Here are a few things that I love about Berkeley.
1. He is genuinly kind to everyone he meets and people are drawn to him.

2. He loves his family so much and offers so much support to each member of his family.

3. He is caring, considerate, and patient.

4. He is funny! He make me laugh so much.

5. He is a hard worker.

6. He is talented in so many ways! (guitar, singing, dancing, soccer...etc)

7. He tries so hard to make me happy all the time.

8. He tells me loves me numerous times a day.

9. He is just a good person inside and out.

10. He is hot. He has good abs. :)

To celebrate, Berkeley got up super early to make me breakfast in bed. He made waffles (crunchy, just how I like em!) with strawberries and whipped cream. I also got a sunny side-up egg! It was so incredibly good and such a nice suprise. When we both got home from work, we hung out and then went to buy our scooter! We now have it and just need to register it so I can start driving it to work. We are both pretty excited about saving gas money and giving that truck a rest. Then, I went to his indoor soccer game and watched his team kick some booty. Afterwards, we ate grilled cheese sandwiches and watched a movie. Hooray! It doesn't sound like much, but it was a very enjoyable day! I love you Berkeley.

Lets go back in time.

So I was taking a walk around our shed and I found an antique! I found an old push-mower that you see in those 1930's films. When I saw it, I pictured a man with very white teeth wearing an outfit made up of brown pants and a sweater vest. His hair is neatly parted a little too far on the right side. He is mowing the lawn of his cookie cutter home in the quaint town of Provo. His wife is inside baking cookies and his children are in the living room listening to a radio show.
After this image played through my mind, I had to give the mower a try!! I wheeled it up to the edge of the grass and pushed with all my might. When I say all my might, I mean it. The neighbors saw me trying to mow the grass with the treasure I had just found in the shed and they found it amusing. They came outside and each of us gave it a try. Berkeley also joined in on the fun. Our grass was ridiculously long, but even so, how in the world did people use those things? What a work-out! When we finished the tiny section of lawn we had strength for, we sat back to laugh at our hack job. What a mess. Grass everywhere. The lawn looked like it had just undergone a really bad haircut. I wish I could take a motorized lawn mower back in time with me and make one white toothed, sweater-vest wearing man very happy.

You'll see me scootin around!

Yes. Yes. Tomorrow I am buying a scooter!! Berkeley and I can't handle these ridiculous gas prices anymore. He has been having to drive our Ford Ranger pick-up to work in SLC everyday for the past few months and it has been a joke how much gas has cost us. We put our heads together and came up with a plan. I only drive to Orem and back for work and school every day, so I am getting a gas-powered scooter and Berkeley is going to take my car to work everyday. We will save a killing in gas and while we aren't driving the truck we are going to do everything we can to sell the dang thing. Hopefully we can sell it before summer is over and then invest in a new car by the time winter gets her. Scooting around in the summer sounds fun to me, but scooting around in the snow does not sound fun to me. So...that's our grand plan. I am very excited. Wave to me if you ever see me scooting around Provo and Orem at a top speed of 35 MPH. Hooray!

Oh my gosh!!

I have a confession to make. I have been a "One Tree Hill" obsessed fan since episode one of season one...there I said it. For all of you out there who are in the same boat as me, I want to hear your predictions about how the show is going to go. This clip killed me last night...

We all know Lucas and Peyton are meant to be together but stupid stuff just keeps getting in the way. How are they ever going to make things work? What's up with the Lindsay chick anyway? I never really liked her. Maybe I am just biased towards Peyton. Anywho, tell me what you think...

On the way to the movies...

Last night we drove to SLC to watch the movie IRON MAN with my brother-in-law Nathaniel and his wife, Dorothy. We loved the movie! Normally those Marvel Comic book movies aren't my cup of tea, but this movie was really funny and entertaining. We went to see it at a theater in West Jordan and Berkeley and I rode in the back seat. To make the trip entertaining, we started taking pictures on Nathaniel's camera. Here are a few of our back-seat boredom shots.
