Natalie! I can't tell you how much your card and gift meant to me! The beanie you made for Asa is the cutest thing in the world! Your gift got to me on a day that I really needed a pick-me-up. Asa had been crying for hours and I was at my whits end and feeling really frustrated that I couldn't discern his needs. (Even though he probably just felt like crying for no reason at all...) I was really bummed out and that is when Berkeley came in with the little package from you. The card said just what I needed to hear and the hat that YOU MADE was icing on the cake! Anyway, I just want you to know that I really appreciate you and your thoughtfulness. You are a great friend. Move back to Utah.
The hat is still a little big, but Asa will grow into it in no time! It still looks darling though! I'm not sure what his facial expression is saying but I think it is his attempt to smile and say "Thanks for my hat Natalie!"

I was just reading this thinking oh what a nice girl she must be. Then I thought wait a minute---is that my sister? I am assuming it is, way to go Natalie. Hat looks very cute on cute little Asa.
Oh I'm so glad! That made my day to know that it made your day! We leave tomorrow early early in the morning. I'm so looking forward to seeing you guys! So we need to get together. I'm glad the hat fits. I wasn't sure bec. it looks so big next to Jaynes huge head! Hope to see you soon!
I am so sorry about the crying sessions. One thing that really helped us with Lily's crying and still works is the video "Happiest Baby on the Block." Rent it from the library and watch it. It is about 45-60 mins long. Also I know that Djin and Gary copied the DVD so you might be able to barrow it from them. Mickelle recommended that we watch it and we finally did. I am so glad that we did, because he gives several suggestions that really help.
