New Car!
Whahoo! Berkeley and I bought a new car yesterday. We used the "Cash for Clunkers" program and traded our truck in. It was a sweet deal. They gave us $4,500 for our '99 Ford Ranger, marked the car down $3,000 and gave Berkeley a military discount of $500. We saved about $8,000 on our new car. We are so excited because our payments on the 2009 Ford Focus are exactly the same as the payments we were making on the '99 Ford Ranger(that I could not drive and we could not put Asa in).
Now friends, there is no need to worry! This gem still belongs to us!! Lucky Berkeley gets to drive this beauty to work now!

Sweet! I had to do a double take when I read that you used cash for clunkers, and then that you traded the truck and not the chevy. Glad it has all worked out, and enjoy your brand-spankin new car!
I'm glad the white beauty survived. You've had lots of memories in that car. College days, singing in the car, trips to Olive Garden, hijackings... good times!
